It’s Book Lover’s Day and here at the Y we’re celebrating by suggesting a list of books that kids need to read before the summer is over! Back to school shopping is around the corner and while you’re out, why not try shopping for some leisurely reading books to ready the mind for the new school year?

The Association for Library Service to Children compiled a neat little list of award winning books that will be sure to interest kids everywhere! Here’s what they recommend:
