Cathy Van Orden, Wellness Director

Cathy joined the Greenbush YMCA wellness staff in 2015 after working for the Youth and Teen department and being an active member since 2010. Cathy enjoys running preschool and youth sports programs, cooking classes and educational programs, while also being a mother to her two sons, Andrew and Joshua.

Patrick joined the Greenbush YMCA wellness staff in 2015. Pat is a former basketball player for SUNY Cobleskill and is the proud father to daughter Kyleigh. He is pursing a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science at SUNY Cortland.

Chris has worked for the YMCA since 2011. He has been a personal trainer since 2006 working with younger and older adults.

The ability to control and change the body through exercise and nutrition fascinates Eric. After studying at University of Washington he continued learning at an outpatient PT clinic. There he learned proper body mechanics and how to strengthen the body safely and efficiently.

Nick played Division I baseball for Towson University for four years, where he found great benefit using strength training to improve athletic performance. He recently completed an internship at Cressey Sports Performance, where he worked with athletes of all ages including special needs populations. Nick is currently studying to become a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach.

John is a Health & Physical Education teacher in Lansingburgh and an instructor at Hudson Valley Community College. He has worked in Fitness for over 40 years with experience as a strength & conditioning coach (Siena College), and fitness director & rehabilitation specialist.
