A Brush of Kindness: Togetherhood Project
RISSE is a family based center that supports newcomers in building sustainable lives in the US. They run an afterschool program for children to help advance their education. On Saturday, October 20th, we are looking for volunteers to help us put a fresh coat of paint on the walls in the spaces these children occupy. No special skills required to join us!
Please make sure to wear old clothes and sneakers for painting. We are in need of paint brushes, trays, rollers, etc. If you have them we encourage you to bring them. If you cannot join us but want to help a donation toward the cost of paint will be greatly appreciated.
If you want to join us please sign up at cdymca.volunteermatters.org, project name is “A Brush of Kindness.” If you have any questions please feel free to contact Shawn St. James at firstname.lastname@example.org or 518.439.4394.
