The Capital District YMCA is proud to offer children the experience of a lifetime at our resident camp, Camp Chingachook, located in the Adirondacks on beautiful Lake George.  

At Chingachgook, we design our programs to develop a child’s mind, body, and spirit. The rhythm of Camp balances group activities with individual pursuits, and education with recreation. We model and teach the core values of the YMCA through daily life in Camp and on an Adventure Trip: honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. The kids may not realize the lessons woven throughout the Chingachgook experience, they just know they are having FUN!
