The Capital District YMCA welcomes individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds, and will not turn individuals away due to their inability to pay. For those who demonstrate financial need, financial assistance can be provided through our Scholarship program. Caring community members fund this program through their generous contributions to our Reach Out for Youth Campaign.

    *Financial assistance available for membership and/or programs, including child care and camp. 
    * Assistance available for all ages 
    * Assistance based on income level, number of people in the household, and/or special financial circumstances 
    * Temporary assistance available for short term financial difficulties 
    * Financial proof MUST be included with the application in order to be processed 
    * Assistance is not guaranteed, and is dependent on availability of current funds and a semi-annual review
