Throughout its 96-year history, YMCA Camp Wa Wa Segowea has been blessed by a community that supports our vision of providing positive life-changing opportunities for children.
All types of gifts are welcome to make possible the highest quality of camping for our community youth. Each gift made to Segowea plays an important role in advancing the impact our program provides. All donations are recognized in writing upon receipt and place the donor on our mailing list to receive newsletters, updates and information about Camp Segowea. When you make a gift, you will receive a written acknowledgement with our grateful thanks, and you should keep this letter for your tax records. If you wish to remain anonymous, please notify us at the time of your gift. Gifts of $1,000 or more will be permanently recognized. Names of these donors will be displayed on a plaque in the new dining hall and welcome center.

Reach Out For Youth –Camper Scholarships
We believe the opportunity to attend YMCA Camp Wa Wa Segowea should be available to any interested family, regardless of ability to pay. We strive to make sure that every child's day brings about bigger and brighter achievements - but we can't do it alone!
Your support ensures that many children and families who otherwise would not be able to afford camp are included. You not only give area kids the chance to belong, but you'll help those children learn the important values that will positively impact their lives and our community tomorrow.

Giving Securities to YMCA Camp Segowea
Gifts of securities are a wonderful way to support the mission of Segowea and offers significant tax benefits to the donor as well. Given directly to YMCA Camp Segowea, gifts of securities will avoid any capital gains tax if the present value is higher than the original purchase price. This method is important when the asset has been owned for 12 months or more, has appreciated in value and will be subject to capital gains tax if sold. Your brokerage firm or trust company can easily transfer securities to YMCA Camp Segowea.
