Lifeguarding
The Bethlehem Area YMCA offers multiple lifeguard certification classes throughout the year.
Participants MUST attend all class dates. No Exceptions.
*The Following Prerequisites Must Be Met the First Day of Class*
*15 years old by the last day of training
*Pass a 300 yard swim test demonstrating front crawl and breast stroke
*Retrieve a brick from 7-9 feet of water and swim on their back with it without using your hands
Class Fee: $325
