The Performance Project: Youth in Motion

This summer, the Schenectady YMCA has an amazing opportunity for students between the ages of 9 and 12! You are welcome to participate in “The Performance Project: Youth in Motion” presented by the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Capital District YMCA, and the Saratoga Regional YMCA, in association with the National Dance Institute.

This all day camp will be held at the Schenectady YMCA where members of the National Dance Institute from NYC will visit the YMCA every day to provide instructions in a wide array of fun, contemporary dance styles—all leading up to a performance on SPAC’s Main Stage.

Want to know the best part? Due to the generosity of the Capital District YMCA donors, this camp is free! But you must be able to attend all 11 days of camp. The camp runs from July 16th – July 20th and from July 23rd – July 27th, with a final performance on July 30th at 7:00pm. This is open to ages 9-12, with all levels of dance welcome to participate.

This amazing camp is limited to 40 participants—so fill out your application and return it to Vicki Feola at vfeola@cdymca.org to reserve your space.
