Join Shihan Perez at the Albany YMCA for WaRyuShin Karate-jutsu Dojo

Monday : 6:00pm – 7:30pm Karate-do Class
Thursday: 6:00pm – 7:30pm Karate-do Class
Adults & Children 8yrs and older
YMCA Members – $30 per Month
Community Rate – $40 Per MONTH

School age children 8yrs to 18yrs must maintain a passing grade average.

Selection for participation in the class will be based on aforementioned criteria and on a first come, first served basis.

Class size limited to 12 total students

Shihan Perez earned his first black belt in 1966. Since then he has travel extensive seeking to perfect his character and knowledge of   Karate-do and Jujutsu. This has included trips Japan and Okinawa, where he studied at the Karate-do and Hakkoryu Jujustu Honbu. He currently holds a Meijin—Shihan (5th Dan) Certification in Jujutsu and Karate-do; former awarded by Nidai Soke Okuyama and the latter by Master Martinez. Additionally, he has received 2nd Dan (Black belt) from World renown JKA Sensei Mori. He also hold black belts in American Goju and Chidokwan Karate. He was a defensive tactics instructor for the New York State Police and was one the lead DT instructors for the New York State Police MRT (SWAT) Team.
