Senior Trainers

Amy Cunningham

Background

Amy’s passion for fitness and living a healthy life style has developed into a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. Amy graduated from SUNY Brockport with a B.A. in Kinesiology in 2012.

Certifications

  • Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology
  • Foundations of Strength and Conditioning from the American
    Counsel on Exercise (ACE)
  • CPR and AED
  • Neuromotor Wellness from the
    YMCA

Ask Amy for help with post injury recovery, balance, strength, weight lifting and proper form and technique.

 


Ryan McCaffrey

Background

Ryan is a Siena College graduate and began working at the YMCA in 2011 while still in high school. He is a dedicated weight lifter in his personal time. Ryan enjoys guiding others down the path toward their goals.

  • National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer
  • American Red Cross CPR & AED

Specialties

Ask Ryan for help with in weight training and bodybuilding. Ryan emphasizes proper technique and progression with an emphasis on correct form. He can help you with building lean muscle, increasing size and strength, and lowering your body fat percentage.

Josh Monroe

Background

Josh started at the YMCA in 2017. He competes as an amateur bodybuilder and as an amateur in Mixed Martial Arts. Josh truly enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals.

  • Certified Personal Trainer by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA)

Patrick_DevoePatrick Devoe

Background

Patrick enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family.  He also enjoys training active, older adults, student athletes and teaching group exercise classes.

Michele Brown

Background

Michele has always had a love for fitness, beginning as a young girl involved in gymnastics. Two years ago, after her girls went to school, Michele decided to pursue her passion and become a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Michele also loves running and has competed in many 5K road races.
