Thor Lampman

“Today is the victory over yourself of yesterday.”

Background

Thor joined the YMCA team in November of 2019 at the Bethlehem branch as the Wellness director. He has been trainer for the last 6 years, working as both the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at a private gym and an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Union College. He has also been a person trainer at SUNY Cortland and has been an intern Strength and Conditioning Coach at Princeton University. Thor holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Fitness Development from SUNY Cortland and is currently in pursuit of his Masters degree. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through NSCA.

Stephanie Davis

Background

Stephanie joined the Southern Saratoga YMCA team in September 2016, but has worked for the YMCA for over 12-years in 3 different states. Stephanie holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Education with a focus in business and psychology from St. John’s River State College, Florida. She is a certified Personal Trainer and also teaches group exercise classes.

Marissa Forte

“The difference between what you want to do and can do ends now.”

Background

Marissa joined the YMCA team in 2013 after completing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.  She worked as a personal trainer and lifeguard while completing her second bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Russell Sage College.  She also earned the credential of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with NSCA to design safe and effective training programs for athletes.  During that time, she resumed taking karate classes and achieved brown belt.  She also started running 5ks.  Marissa is extremely passionate about combining fitness with nutrition to help you achieve the best outcome.  She recently obtained her new certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Jazmin Sepulveda

Background

Jazmin started working for the YMCA in 2017, starting in Childcare. She holds a B.S in Human Physiological Sciences from Skidmore. She has been an athlete most of her life playing softball and later on, Track and Field. It was during Track that she found her true passion for fitness in powerlifting and working out.

Koleen Cormie

“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.”

Background

Kolleen has been a Certified Personal Trainer through National Sports Medicine, as well as a Certified Yoga Instructor for 2 years. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh and started coaching Gymnastics which continued for 5 years. Her passion is helping others on their journey to extraordinary living through fitness. When she’s not at the gym she enjoys spending her time outside in nature especially boating on the water.
