National Women’s Health and Fitness Day is an annual campaign that was created by the Health Information Resource Center and it’s goal is to have women take control of their health. This is also part of
National Women’s Health & Fitness Week. An estimated 80,000 to 100,000 women of all ages, from across the country, will gather at senior centers, hospitals, health clubs, park and recreation districts, health and service organizations, schools, retirement communities and other community locations to partake in local women’s health and fitness events. At the Y, we encourage health and fitness through our various programs we offer all over the Capital District.
