Swim Lessons - Teen (Age 11-18)


Teen – Stage 1: Water Acclimation & Stage 2: Water Movement is designed for beginner swimmers, who need to gain more confidence in the water. Students are learning skills with the help of a flotation device and assistance from instructor when needed. The class reinforces safety through practicing treading water, back floats, and introducing elementary backstroke. Skills include working on submerging, front and back glide, front and back float, swimming on front and back, water exits, jump-push-turn-grab, treading water, rolling, and swim-float-swim. Participants are working on learning how to be safe in and around water, while developing basic swimming skills.
