Swim Lessons - Teen (Age 11-18)


The Teen Stage 3 – Water Stamina class is for teens who can swim short distances (10ft) on their front and back and are ready to learn more swimming skills and build endurance. Activities focus on integrating arm action, leg action, and rhythmic breathing with front and back glides, developing forward movement on the front and back, and practicing skills and safety techniques in deep water. Other skills include submerging, water exits, jump-swim-turn-swim-grab, rolling, and swim-float-swim. The class reinforces safety through practicing the resting stroke – elementary backstroke.
