Basketball Classes - Youth


The Capital District YMCA Teen Basketball program invites boys and girls to participate in a high quality and structured program to develop and enhance their skills in basketball. Skills and drills will be taught in a progression fashion using stations where participants will practice shooting, passing, and dribbling. These skills will be used to advance their learning in offensive and defensive concepts. Speed and agility workouts specific to basketball will also be included during the program. Participants will spend the first hour in the gym with Coach Robert Mills and last half hour in our Personal Training Studio with a Certified Personal Trainer to enhance strength and conditioning.
