All YMCA branches are temporarily closed.
Due to the statewide mandate to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all Y branches, offices, and clinics are temporarily closed. We are quickly responding to this change and will provide details on our website, and via email, as the situation continues to evolve.
Resources and Support
Childcare for Essential Workers
During these unprecedented times, the Capital District YMCA is responding to the critical need for childcare services for emergency personnel.
Community Response and Support
First responders and medical professionals need our help caring for their children, as they have no choice but to report to work and keep our community healthy and safe. We want to respond. But we cannot do it without your support.
You can make direct and immediate impact by donating today to keep YMCA childcare centers open to provide safe, high-quality care to hundreds of children at Y program sites throughout the Capital Region, including children in grades K-5 who are currently out of school.
All of us at the Y are grateful for the outpouring of support many of you have expressed. We are committed to doing everything possible to secure the future of the YMCA, and all its services, as these uncertain times continue.
