Join the Capital District YMCA
As one of the Capital District’s premier non-profit organizations the Y is a cause for strengthening our community. That’s why we’re here working with you every day, making sure that you, your family and community have the resources and support you need to learn, grow and thrive.
With a focus on developing the potential of kids, improving individual health and well-being, and giving back and supporting our neighbors, your membership will bring about meaningful change not just within yourself, but in your community too.

Remain a Member
As a Sustaining Member, your membership dues become a tax-deductible donation until we open back up for business as usual. And your donation will make all the difference. Your support will help us continue to provide critical childcare and food to children who need it in the midst of this crisis. It will also secure our future as a haven for families, seniors and young people – for you, our members.
If You Can’t Remain a Member
Naturally, if you cannot continue paying your membership fees until we re-open, and wish to place your membership on hold, we certainly understand. To do so, please reach out to our dedicated Member Services team at email@example.com
However, if you want to join many other members in bridging the gap, we invite you to stay with us and donate your membership fee as a Sustaining Member. And if you are unable to continue to pay your full membership fee, but wish to make a monthly sustaining contribution, we greatly appreciate an adjusted amount that best suits your budget in the interim.
UPDATE: Guest & Nationwide Membership Policy
Under normal circumstances, we would gladly welcome your guests and happily participate in Nationwide Membership, which welcomes Y members from other communities as guests at our Y.
These are not normal circumstances.
We continue to follow state guidelines that allow only 33% capacity in our branches. Because of these severe restrictions, and all of our efforts to safely welcome you, our members, at this time we’re not able to welcome guests and visiting Y members.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
