Today’s Achievers Are Tomorrow’s Leaders

The Capital District YMCA offers a unique program for teens in junior high and high school. Our Black & Latino Achievers Program helps develop character, life, academic, and career skills, raising standards leading to high school graduation, and builds pathways toward their respective careers.

The Black and Latino Achievers is a multicultural effort to create equity in education as well as in the workplace by motivating African American/Black, Latino, and other minority youth to develop and pursue high educational and career goals.
