As a member of the Capital District YMCA, you join a community of like-minded people striving for healthy living and a better lifestyle. The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive.
With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
The Y is more than a gym, and you have chose to be a part of it. You’re steps away from being part of that community!
We’re glad to have you!

Guest & Nationwide Membership Policy
We are happy to welcome Y members as guests at our Y under Nationwide Membership. This means that YMCA members in good standing, from other YMCA associations, are welcome to use the Capital District YMCA.
Guests are welcome at the Y!
As a member of the Capital District YMCA, you enjoy unlimited guest passes, to bring family and friends to the Y. Your guests are welcome to visit the Y for free two times a year. Members are welcome to bring up to two guests at a time. Please note, guest passes are not accepted at our Schenectady location.
Guests are considered members for the day, with all the same opportunities and responsibilities as members.
Due to high member volume, guest passes may not be available for certain classes/activities.
