Being a nurse isn’t an easy job, and it’s even harder if you’re working with sick children. At the Y, we have the Circle of Champs program which improves the quality of life for children with a life-threatening illness. This is what Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Nurses do for children every day and we at the Y appreciate all of the hard work they do. The most important part of recovery is a support group which we along with these nurses provide for them. These children get a chance to be kids with the help of these nurses. Each day, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses care for many of our most precious patients: children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. These special nurses are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to their patients and families.  Often, that care extends beyond their physical health to include emotional support and long term follow-up treatment as they mature into adults.

We appreciate the hard work you put into your jobs, and we thank you endlessly!
