American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

The American Red Cross Waterfront and Lifeguard training program is designed to prepare individuals who would like to apply to work as lifeguards. The Waterfront module available in this training allows lifeguards to work in non-surf open-water areas at public parks, resorts, camps and campgrounds. This lifeguard training class includes certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard with Waterfront, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. Additional certifications are available upon request. Candidates must be an intermediate to advanced swimmers and be able to swim 550 yards continuously. Candidates must be at least 15 years old to take the course.
