Dunk Your Favorite SSY Staff for a Good Cause!


We’re turning up the chill factor for charity! Our team is gearing up for an Ice Bath Challenge to support the Safety Around Water Program, and we need your help to make it happen. Safety Around Water is offered at no cost to elementary students around the Capital Region and focuses on: Exercises to teach children the fun and dangers of water, instruction in "Jump, Push, Turn, Grab" and "Swim, Float, Swim", and basic first aid skills.


Here’s how it works:


Cast Your Vote: Decide how many of our brave staff members will take the plunge! The voting is open now through February 17.


Raise the Stakes: For every $50 donated, the staff member you vote for will take the icy plunge one time. Want to see our wellness director jump in five times? Rally your friends and donate $250 to make it happen! Want to share the fun? Split $100 between two staff members and watch them both take the plunge.


Support a Worthy Cause: 100% of proceeds will benefit our Safety Around Water Program, helping to ensure our community learns vital water safety skills.
