Cassy began personal training over 15 years ago, in NJ where she owned her own gym. After moving to NY to be closer to her family, she started working for the YMCA making people laugh through the pain of her grueling workouts. She enjoys helping individuals grow and meet their fitness goals and loves making their fitness journey more fun and exciting!


AJ Generali

AJ has been working in the field of Exercise Science and Kinesiology for several years now. In his career he has had the opportunity to work in the classroom, the research lab, and on the gym floor. The combination of the three gives him a unique perspective and approach to Personal Training.

As a Fitness entrepreneur, Tangi has worked with a Girls’ Residential program in the NYC area, to implement the S.H.E. Is Movement fitness initiative, introducing various fitness workout styles and nutrition education to teen girls.

An avid runner since 2011 (participating in various Half Marathons) and having an active lifestyle since her early teen years, Tangi desires to bring more Black women and girls into fitness spaces to improve their lives by sharing the importance of self-care through fitness.

Matt is recent graduate of Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Originally from Maryland, he dedicates most of his time to working out or playing soccer. After spending a few seasons coaching soccer at the youth level while he finished his degree, he decided to commit to personal training and helping others in his community accomplish their overall health and fitness goals.

Andrew Moore

Andrew’s lifetime hobby of weightlifting and fitness is just starting to bloom into a wonderful career in personal training here at the Capital District YMCA!
