Wellness Orientations Free with YMCA Membership
Did you know new members of the YMCA receive a free wellness orientation to get you started on your wellness journey? During your wellness orientation, a personal trainer will help you navigate through the equipment and resources available to optimize your Y experience.
Personal Training
Our nationally certified personal trainers are ready to work one-on-one with you to create a personalized fitness program tailored to your needs! After you complete physical therapy for an injury, our trainers can assist you in performing rehabilitative exercises safely and effectively. Each session focuses on goal setting, cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength and endurance training, and overall body restructuring.
Our trainers will design individualized programs to help you achieve your specific objectives, whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, strength training, or simply refreshing your regular workout routine.
The Capital District YMCA is proud to partner with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), to provide excellent learning and growth opportunities for our personal trainers.
Semi-Private Training

Training is available in 1, 4, 8, and 12 one-hour packages. Single sessions and monthly recurring packages are available at a discounted rate. Non-member rates are available.
